Ukraine Strikes Russian Plant With British Storm Shadow Missiles
The Ukrainian forces have been using British-supplied Storm Shadow missiles to target the Kremniy El plant in the Bryansk region of Russia, which Ukrainian President Zelenskyy described as a critical facility for producing electronics for the missiles targeting Ukrainian civilians. The Ukrainian government has stated that the facility is a legitimate military target that is essential for Russia’s production of high-precision weaponry. As a result of the Ukrainian forces using British-supplied Storm Shadow missiles to target a facility in Russia, there are ongoing efforts to bring an end to the war under the mediation of US President Donald Trump. However, the talks are stalled because Ukraninan government is demanding for cede control of a significant part of the Donbas region to Russia. Despite the deployment of North Korean troops and Iranian drones to support the Russian forces, Ukraine is still receiving military support from Western forces, indicating a critical situation in Ukraine that is currently in a stalemate.
